In 2006, Dr. Ahmed graduated with a BA in biology from the University of Texas at Austin. He continued his dental education in San Antonio, where he received his dental degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio in 2011. He returned to Austin and has been working as a dentist ever since.
Dr. Lyna Vuu was raised in Sugarland, Texas. She graduated from Texas A&M with a bachelor’s in biomedical science and went on to the University of Texas, San Antonio where she graduated with her Doctor of Dental Surgery. She has a passion for working with children of all ages and enjoys creating a fun and safe experience for them. During her free time, Dr. Vuu loves reading, cooking, and attending music festivals.
Please meet Dr. Anna! She comes to Texas from her hometown of Des Moines, Iowa, and after completing a General Practice Residency in Los Angeles she moved to Austin where it (almost) never snows! Since settling here she has enjoyed exploring the city and starting a family with her husband. Be sure to ask her about her Guinea pigs! She is excited to meet you and provide you with the high quality care you can expect from the team at The Smile Spot!
Since 2012, Dr. Alejandro Martinez has been providing comprehensive dentistry in Texas. He graduated dental school from University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He won the Opencare Patients’ Choice Award. Dr. Martinez has received advanced training in cosmetic dentistry, surgical implant placement and implant restorations, and dental extractions including impacted wisdom teeth.
